The Walking Dead Season 10: first image of the departure of a mythical character
If AMC is not done with the Walking Dead brand, the mother series, meanwhile, increasingly looks like an undead show. And with the umpteenth departure of one of its pillars, we say that even the maggots leave the corpse.
WARNING SPOILERS!
Over the course of years of publications, the comics imagined by Robert Kirkman have logically pruned quite a few, if not all of the original characters. A logical approach for a post-apocalyptic narrative which intended to stage human predation and the return to a form of primary savagery. An audacity that the series produced by AMC will never have authorized itself, because of its spectacular success.
Indeed, in the space of two seasons, Walking Dead has transformed into a cultural phenomenon, bringing together both zombie movie lovers who find there a weekly dose of flesh, as well as spectators learning about the genre, initially retained by the leafy dimension of the plot. International success requires, several actors and actresses (Melissa McBride, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Andrew Lincoln, Danai Gurira, Lennie James) have become vehicles of this success, properly impossible to kill for a production wishing to save its hen from the dead eggs .
At least until the audiences completely unravel, and the zombie cruise takes on the air of a jellyfish raft. Since the leak in the open countryside of Andrew Lincoln, historic leader of the show, departures have multiplied at high speed. And the next one may be the most resounding, or fraught with consequences. And here are the first images, unveiled by TV Line, of actress Danai Gurira in what should constitute the only narrative arc of her adventure, before a well-deserved rest.
While the heroes of Walking Dead will stick with the Whisperers on February 23 for the second part of season 10? The legendary Michonne will prepare for her big departure. Whether she is killed or kept cool (like Rick or Maggie) thanks to a possible turnaround of the show, it will be a blow for the fans, her hero character badass being one of the last guarantors integrity of the series. But perhaps AMC will soon prefer to focus on its spin-off productions, Fear the Walking Dead and The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
