Godzilla: Singular Point – Netflix unveils epic trailer for new series

Netflix has just unveiled an epic trailer for Godzilla: Singular Point, the new animated series around the famous Japanese monster.

New animated series, around the famous Japanese monster, to land on the platform at red N, after Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Godzilla: The City at the dawn of the fight, or Godzilla: the Eater of planets, Godzilla: Singular Point was recently announced on Netflix. It will be under the direction of the studio Bones, known in particular for its work on the animated series My Hero Academia, in partnership with the Japanese animation studio Orange, creator of the Beastars series.

Indeed, Netflix draws a lot in the vein of Kaiju Eiga since the Godzilla of Gareth Edwards, released in 2014, and its sequel, Godzilla II: King of the Monsters by Michael Dougherty, released in 2019. And while waiting for the clash between the monster Japanese and the giant American gorilla, in Godzilla vs. Kong by Adam Wingard, the platform has just unveiled a first 46-second teaser on Twitter for the new animated series.

A short first teaser, but with strong images, which promise a beautiful animation, which, as a reminder, will combine in its technique the animation by hand and the digital CGI animation.

The teaser also highlights the big names behind this animated series: Atsushi Takahashi at the director, behind the Netflix film Blue Exorcist, Kan Sawada at the music, composer of the Doraemon series, Toh Enjoe, Japanese science fiction author, as well as as Kazue Katô, author of the manga series Blue Exorcist. But above all, there will be Eiji Yamamori, legendary animator from Ghibli studios, having worked on cult works like Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away, in charge of the design of the monsters.

In the meantime, you can find out what we think of the Japanese monster’s latest excursion to the big screen, namely Godzilla II: King of the Monsters.
